PJ Ryan began writing at the age of thirteen, initially using poetry as a coping mechanism and emotional outlet for the succession of traumatic events she endured.
PJ was encouraged by those reading her writes, to seriously regard the natural ability she had to translate emotion and transport the reader very quickly whilst holding succinct rhythm.
Her prolific creative expression also includes photography, visual design and music production.
Prevalent in her photography is an appreciation for capturing light, shadow and energy within all visual aesthetics.
She holds a very strong eye for detail.
PJ Ryan has self-published three collective books of short stories and prose, has gained publication in national/international press, newspapers and anthologies whilst also collaborating with musicians and recording artists by providing lyrical content and album cover design.
PJ has previously owned a Bar/Restaurant where she instigated and curated an art gallery whilst successfully negotiating all sales on behalf of national and international artists.
PJ writes about life – yours, theirs, his, hers, yesterdays and tomorrow.
This is the unpleasant book in her head.
